Bookkeeping Assistant for Modern Remote Firm — Weekly QBO Bookkeeping (Ongoing)

We're a specialized remote bookkeeping firm looking for a reliable, detail-obsessed bookkeeper to take over the day-to-day books for a handful of small business clients. This is ongoing, recurring work — not a one-off project — and there's room to grow as we scale. What you'd do each week/month: - Weekly bookkeeping for 4–5 small business clients in QuickBooks Online - Monthly bank reconciliations with discrepancies flagged - Rename and file financial documents to a strict naming convention - Quarterly sales tax prep - Assist in preparing invoices across the portfolio of clients - Keep client folders in Google Drive clean and audit-ready This is execution work with clear checklists for every client. No client-facing communication or payment processing. You're a fit if you have: - 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, including reconciliations - Strong QuickBooks Online skills (you don't need the basics taught) - Experience juggling multiple clients at once - An eye for detail and a habit of hitting deadlines - Comfort working independently in Google Workspace Bonus: QBO ProAdvisor certification, sales tax experience, or familiarity with Wise/Justworks.
