Finance Accountability Partner — Part-time, Long-term (SaaS Startup) We are not looking for a bookkeeper only. I'm looking for a financially literate partner who helps me stay on top of the basics — and gently makes sure I don't avoid them. THE SITUATION I'm the founder and CEO of a SaaS startup. I have a strong finance background — the problem is not knowledge, it's execution. Between building product, closing deals, and managing the team, financial admin gets pushed to the bottom every week. I need someone to work with weekly or bi-weekly, keep us accountable, and help us get through a simple checklist. Think of it as a working session with a calm, organized co-pilot. Help maintain a simple rolling cash flow overview (we build the template together in session 1) Make sure invoices are ordered, numbered, and tracked Walk through outstanding items so nothing is forgotten Ask the right questions: "Was this paid? Did you follow up? What's blocking you?" Light async work between calls — updating a shared tracker, flagging overdue items, prepping the next session agenda THIS IS NOT A statutory bookkeeping or accounting role A CFO or financial strategy position Complex startup finance or investor reporting (we will fundraise, and you are welcome to help) YOU ARE Organized, reliable, and consistent — you show up, every time Comfortable with simple financial tracking in Google Sheets or similar tools Experienced working with founders or small business owners Good at holding people accountable — calm, direct, no judgment Available on a consistent bi-weekly schedule — reliability beats credentials here Fluent in English WHY THIS IS A GREAT GIG Learn About AI - We are an AI company and we can develop small toots together, if you like.
