Brand Ambassador for College Admissions

We are seeking a brand ambassador and online community engagement assistant with a strong understanding of US college admissions. The role involves engaging with online communities, promoting our brand, and providing guidance on college admissions. The ideal candidate will have experience in US college admissions, social media engagement, and writing, with a passion for education and community building. Are you passionate about college access and helping the next generation of students achieve their dreams? The Ivy Institute is seeking a Brand & Community Engagement Intern to represent the company and serve as a supportive voice across our online communities (including Facebook, Reddit, Medium, and other digital platforms). In this role, you will act as a peer mentor, answering questions from high school students and their families, providing encouraging advice on the college prep and application process, and helping us build a welcoming, resource-rich online community. Key Responsibilities 1. Active Community Engagement: Monitor and engage in discussions across our designated social media platforms, online forums, and online community groups. 2. Admissions Q&A: Provide helpful, accurate, and encouraging advice to students and parents posting questions about college preparation, essay writing, and application timelines. 3. Brand Advocacy: Represent The Ivy Institute’s values of educational access and high-quality mentorship in every online interaction. 4. Trend Spotting: Share insights with our team on what questions and anxieties are most common among current applicants to help us shape future resources. Qualifications 1. Mission-Driven: A genuine passion for college admissions, higher education access, and helping families navigate the application journey. 2. Strong Communicators: Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write empathetically, clearly, and authentically. 3. Digital Natives: Comfortable navigating online platforms (such as Facebook Groups and Reddit) and understanding their unique community cultures. 4. Experience (Preferred, but not required): Prior experience helping peers, siblings, or students through the college application process is a major plus!
