THE ROLE We are looking for a Freelance Brand Content Editor to produce elevated creative assets across our digital channels. This is not a task-execution role. We need someone who approaches every deliverable, whether that’s a single email graphic or an Instagram Reel, with the same level of care as if it were the first thing a customer sees from our brand. Because it might be. You will edit video and images, build email and SMS assets and create social media content that is polished, on-brand and designed to resonate with a US luxury customer. You will work closely with our marketing team, participating in regular, weekly Zoom check-ins to review work, receive feedback and align on upcoming deliverables. This role is ideal for someone who has high personal standards for the work they put out, understands visual storytelling and genuinely cares about how every piece of content contributes to the overall brand experience and story and customer journey. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Edit short form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, paid social) to a polished, brand consistent standard using tools such as CapCut, Final Cut Pro or equivalent - Edit and retouch imagery for use across email, social media, website and paid channels - Build and produce email marketing assets within an email service platform (e.g., Klayvi) including layout, imagery and copy placement - Create SMS marketing content aligned with campaign messaging - Develop Instagram content including static posts, carousels and Reels that reflect the brand’s refined aesthetic. - Ensure every asset adheres to established brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity across all touch points - Review and proof all content for accuracy, formatting and visual quality before delivery - Organize and deliver final assets in the correct formats and specs for each platform - Collaborate with the marketing team on content calendars, campaign launches and ongoing creative needs - Stay current on social media formats, editing techniques and digital content trends relevant to luxury and lifestyle brands WEEKLY DELIVERABLES TO INCLUDE BUT LIMITED TO You will be expected to hit the ground running. In your first weeks, you will be expected to produce the following as part of your regular workflow: - 1 weekly marketing email (built within our email service provider, Klayvio) - 1 SMS campaign asset - 5 instagram assets (a mix of static posts, carousels and Reels) - As needed, print assets and website banners These deliverables set the baseline for the quality and pace we expect on an ongoing basis. REQUIREMENTS - Available for collaborative, real-time work via Zoom between 9am - 1:00pm New York / Eastern Standard Time. Exact meeting times will be agreed upon together, but consistent availability within this window is required as this role involves working with our Marketing team in New York. - A strong portfolio or body of work demonstrating your ability to create polished, brand-consistent video and image content for digital channels. Please include links or attachments with your application. - Demonstrated experience with visual storytelling. You understand how to craft content that tells a story, not just fills a slot. - High personal standards, strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must. We are looking for someone who cares about the craft and understands how to pull the customer into the story behind every piece, not someone who checks boxes to complete a task. - Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and deliver work quickly and efficiently that is ready for review without requiring extensive rework. - An understanding of a luxury brand’s presentation and the expectations of a US luxury customer - Interest in jewelry, fashion or lifestyle brands is a plus TOOLS & SKILLS Required: Proficiency in image editing (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite), video editing (e.g., CapCut, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Adobe Premiere or similar) Strongly Preferred: - Experience with AI-powered creative tools such as Midjourney and Claude and content ideation and generation. - Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klayvio). - Interest in jewelry, fashion or lifestyle brands HIRING PROCESS Our hiring process includes a practical assessment so we can evaluate your skills in a real-world context.
