BRAND & GRAPHIC DESIGNER — LAUNCH IDENTITY SYSTEM (PREMIUM TEXTILE BRAND) Project type: Fixed-price Budget: $1000(fixed) — open to discussing scope with the right designer Experience level: Intermediate/Expert Estimated length: 2-4 weeks ABOUT THE PROJECT We're launching a premium, B2B textile brand and need a designer to execute a coordinated set of launch assets. The brand direction is already established — positioning, voice, palette, and typography are defined in a completed creative brief and visual research deck. We're not asking you to invent the direction. We're asking you to execute it into polished, production-ready files. The aesthetic is Swiss International Style discipline crossed with industrial/mill vocabulary: grid-based layouts, generous white space, disciplined typography, and operational detailing (lot codes, batch numbers, spec labels) used as the decoration. Think editorial and premium-heritage references — clean, confident, and built for both a production floor and a concept-store window. No lifestyle gloss. DIRECTION ALREADY ESTABLISHED You'll be working within a defined system, not from a blank page. Palette: • Deep indigo — primary (approx. #1F3A6B, near Pantone 281 C) • Warm near-black — #15161A • Uncoated cream / paper white — #F2EFE8 Typography (four voices, each with a job): • Headlines / wordmark: a clean grotesque (e.g. Söhne or Neue Haas Grotesk), lowercase by default • Data, codes, specs: a monospace (e.g. Diatype Mono or Söhne Mono) — the operational type is the decoration • Editorial serif: used sparingly for pull-quotes (e.g. Lyon or Times Modern) • Stamped/archival serif: American Typewriter, for tags, stamps, and anything that should read like it was typed on a real machine Signature device: • A modular column grid doubles as both layout system and decorative pattern — applied across packaging, deck dividers, and graphics. WHAT YOU'LL DELIVER A coordinated launch asset set, built from the brief: • Finalized wordmark / logo lockups • Brand Guide with specific instructions • Hang-tag • Swatch card • One magazine ad (1/4 page) • One-page capability sheet Print-ready files plus editable source in AFFINITY is required. Everything must work on a crate, tag, or roll-end AND in a high-end retail window. YOU'RE A STRONG FIT IF YOU • Have a portfolio in premium / luxury, editorial, or industrial brand work • Are fluent in grid-based Swiss design and disciplined typography • Can design for print production (packaging, labels), not just screen • Bonus: comfort with bilingual (FR/EN) typesetting as a single system TO APPLY Please include: 1) Relevant portfolio pieces (packaging, premium brand, or editorial work especially) 2) A short note on how you'd approach the Swiss/International modular-grid-as-pattern concept that isn't generated by AI but instead informed directly by sending us work in this style with your own commentary on it.
