We are seeking an experienced Brand Identity & Publication Designer to help establish the visual identity of a new nonprofit organization focused on housing, workforce development, entrepreneurship, financial empowerment, and community development. We are looking for a creative partner who can transform our organization's mission, strategy, and programs into professional, visually compelling marketing materials that will be used with government agencies, foundations, hospitals, financial institutions, corporate partners, and community organizations. Our goal is to create a polished brand that communicates credibility, trust, professionalism, and measurable community impact. We value designers who think beyond aesthetics. We want someone who understands how visual communication builds credibility, influences decision-makers, and tells the story of an organization's impact. We're looking for someone who can create a document that is clean, professional, and comparable to the marketing materials produced by top consulting firms and established nonprofits. We are looking for a long-term design partner not just someone to complete one project. Scope of Work Phase 1 – Capability Statement (Primary Deliverable) Design a premium-quality 2-page capability statement that will be used during meetings with: Government agencies, County departments, Mayor's Office, Foundations, Healthcare organizations Corporate partners, Financial institutions, Community organizations This should resemble the quality of publications produced by leading consulting firms, community development organizations, and foundations. What We Will Provide: We have already completed the content, including: Mission, Vision, Organizational overview, Programs and services, Core pillars, Contact information, Brand colors, Logo. Content hierarchy Your job is to transform this information into a professional, visually engaging capability statement that communicates credibility and impact. Design Style We're looking for a design that is: Modern, Clean, Sophisticated, Easy to read, Government and corporate friendly, Community-focused, Professional without feeling overly corporate Please avoid generic nonprofit brochure templates. Deliverables 2-page capability statement (8.5" x 11", portrait) High-resolution Print-ready PDF (300 DPI) Web-optimized PDF Editable source files Adobe InDesign Files Editable Canva version Editable PowerPoint version All fonts and linked assets used in the design Organized source files To Apply Please include: Four to five examples of capability statements, company profiles, Corporate Publications or similar publications you've designed. A brief description of your design approach. Your estimated turnaround time. Your fixed-price quote. Include the words "Collective Impact" at the beginning of your proposal so we know you have read the full job posting. Applications without relevant portfolio samples may not be considered. We are looking for a long-term design partner, so there is potential for additional projects including brochures, presentations, grant collateral, social media graphics, annual reports, and other branded materials
