Build Custom Guesty API Integration for Property Management Accounting with Hubdoc/Xero

We are a property management company using Guesty as our Property Management System (PMS), Xero for accounting, and Hubdoc for receipt capture. Please read this job description carefully before applying. This is not a simple integration project. We are looking for someone with experience working with accounting systems, APIs, and preferably property management software. The final solution must be robust enough for our team to use on an ongoing basis. Current Workflow: * Receipts are captured through Hubdoc. * Hubdoc syncs documents into Xero and Google Drive. * Property income is tracked in Guesty * Owner statements are generated through Guesty. The Problem: We want owner statements in Guesty to reflect not only income, but also expenses. Currently, our expenses are not being imported We process more than 200 expense receipts per month, and these are not recurring transactions. They are individual expenses associated with specific properties. What We Need: We are looking for a custom solution that uses the Guesty API to automate expense entry into Guesty The ideal system would: 1. Import expense data from our existing workflow (Hubdoc, Xero, Google Drive, or another recommended source). 2. Create expense records in Guesty through the API. 3. Attach or link the receipt image/PDF to the expense record. 4. Assign expenses to the correct property. 5. Convert expenses from Mexican Pesos (MXN) into USD using a defined exchange rate input. 6. Support labor expenses and employee hours as expenses that can also be reported into Guesty 7. Minimize manual data entry and be simple for our operations team to use. 8. Include documentation and training so our team can maintain the process. Please Include in Your Proposal: * Your experience with Guesty and its API. * Experience with Xero integrations. * Experience with Hubdoc integrations. * Examples of accounting or financial workflow automations you have built. * Your proposed architecture for this project. * Estimated timeline. * Estimated budget. Important: This project requires someone who can think through the complete workflow and build a practical long-term solution, not simply connect two systems together. If you have not worked with accounting integrations, financial workflows, or PMS systems before, this is probably not the right fit. We are looking for someone who can recommend the best approach and then build a reliable solution that our team can use every day.
