Hi, my name's Patrick and I'm the founder of TRAXX, a new premium grip sock brand built for male athletes aged 16–28. We're football/soccer first, but the product is just as relevant to rugby, AFL, gym, Hyrox and basketball. TRAXX is about premium performance without the hype tax: stronger traction, a locked-in feel, and a clean, slick aesthetic. The brand identity is minimal and premium, in black and white, with a sharp "TX" emblem and a "TRAXX" wordmark. Think confident, modern and sporty — something a young athlete is happy to wear and post. I'm looking for an experienced Shopify freelancer to build a launch-ready store from scratch. The business basics are already sorted (ABN and GST registered), so I need someone to focus on building a clean, fast, conversion-focused store that reflects the premium brand. Project objective Design and build a complete, mobile-first Shopify store that: Looks premium and on-brand (black/white, minimal, modern) Makes the bundle value obvious and drives a higher average order value Is fast, mobile-optimised and conversion-focused Is built natively in Shopify so I can manage products, prices and content myself after launch Scope of work 1. Store setup & configuration Set up the Shopify store on a quality theme (premium theme recommended; suggest options) Configure store settings: AUD currency, Australian tax settings, time zone, units Connect my domain (traxx.com.au) Configure checkout settings and basic store preferences Note: I will personally set up payments (Shopify Payments) and complete identity verification — please leave that part to me 2. Theme & design Customise the theme to match TRAXX branding (black/white, minimal, premium) Mobile-first design — the majority of traffic will be mobile, so it must look and perform excellently on phones Clean typography, strong hero section, and a layout that feels high-end rather than discount Implement my logo files, brand colours and imagery Ensure consistent styling across all pages 3. Product setup Build 4 products, each with colour and size variants: Solo (1 pair) — $22.95 Trio (3 pairs) — $44.95 Squad Pack (6 pairs) — $54.95 Elite Pack (10 pairs) — $84.95 Variants: Sizes: S / M / L / XL Colourways: Black/White and White/Black This means 8 variants per product (4 sizes × 2 colourways) For each product: Add titles, descriptions (I'll provide copy, or quote separately to write it), and images (I'll provide photography) Set up a clear SKU naming convention (e.g. TRX-SOLO-BLK-M) Configure inventory tracking by size and colour Set up product organisation (collections, tags) 4. Bundles & per-pair savings Set up the multi-pair packs as bundles (either as individual products or via a bundle app — recommend the best approach) Critical: each product page must clearly display the per-pair savings (e.g. "$22.95/pair → $8.50/pair") so the value of bundling up is impossible to miss A bundle-led layout on the homepage to push average order value 5. Pages Build and style the following: Home (hero, product/bundle showcase, benefits, social proof section, brand story snippet) 4 product pages (with size guide, wash care, bundle savings, reviews/UGC area) Collections / Shop All About Contact FAQ Size Guide Wash & Care Policy pages: Refund, Shipping, Privacy, Terms of Service 6. Email & marketing flows Set up core automated flows (Shopify Email or Klaviyo — recommend): Welcome flow / email signup popup with incentive Abandoned cart Order confirmation Review request (post-delivery) 7. Apps & integrations A reviews app (for collecting and displaying reviews and athlete UGC) Email capture popup Any lightweight apps needed for bundles Keep the app stack minimal to protect site speed 8. Analytics & tracking Shopify analytics Meta Pixel Google Analytics (GA4) Ensure conversion and purchase events are tracking correctly 9. Shipping & tax Set up shipping zones and rates (flat rate + free shipping over a threshold) Configure Australian tax settings Set up parcel/mailer weights for accurate rates 10. SEO & performance Basic on-page SEO (meta titles/descriptions, alt text, clean URLs) Optimise images and theme for fast load times, especially on mobile Mobile responsiveness across all pages and devices In scope vs out of scope In scope: everything listed above — full store build, design, product/bundle setup, pages, flows, integrations, analytics, settings, testing, and handover. Out of scope (unless quoted separately): Product photography and videography Logo design (I have logo files) Ongoing marketing/ad management Copywriting (I can provide product descriptions; quote separately if you write them) I'll handle myself: payment gateway setup and identity verification. What I'll provide Logo files (TRAXX wordmark + TX emblem) and brand colours Product photography Product descriptions (or we agree a copywriting add-on) Policy content or approval Domain and Shopify collaborator access Brand references and clear feedback Brand & design direction Aesthetic: premium, minimal, modern, masculine — black and white Target customer: male athletes 16–28, football-first Tone: performance-focused and confident, not gimmicky or discount-looking Reference competitors (for benchmarking, not copying): stepzz.co and shopjoga.com — I'll share specifically what I like and dislike about each during the project Technical requirements Built natively in Shopify — no locked custom code I can't maintain or edit Fast, lightweight and mobile-first Clean, organised back-end so I can manage products, variants, prices and content easily after launch Deliverables A fully built, tested, launch-ready Shopify store on my domain All 4 products live with correct variants, SKUs, pricing and bundle savings displayed All pages and policies complete Email flows set up and tested Analytics and tracking installed and verified A completed test order to confirm the full purchase flow works Handover & training A short training session or recorded walkthrough (e.g. Loom) showing me how to manage products, prices, variants, inventory and basic content edits Documentation of any apps used and how they work Timeline Please provide your estimated delivery timeline. I'm aiming to launch as soon as the store and content are ready. I'd like to agree clear milestones (e.g. setup → design → products/pages → flows/integrations → testing → handover). Budget & payment Please provide a fixed quote for the full scope, plus: Any add-ons priced separately (e.g. copywriting) Your hourly/fixed rate for post-launch tweaks and support I'm happy to work to milestone-based payments.
