Build AI-powered workflow automation (Telegram, Google Sheets, LLM integration)

Job Description We're building AI-powered workflow automations that connect Telegram bots, Google Sheets, and AI models (like Gemini) into working, production-ready systems — not simple triggers, but multi-step workflows with real conditional logic, error handling, and data validation. What you'll be working on: We currently have a suite of automations built for a real estate use case — property listing management, client lead matching, loan/EMI eligibility calculators, and AI-generated market reports — and we're looking for someone to [extend this suite / build a new automation / fix and harden existing workflows — fill in based on the actual task]. Deliverables: [Specific workflow(s) to build — e.g., "a new Telegram command that does X"] Clean, commented code that another developer could pick up and maintain Basic testing of edge cases (empty data, malformed input, API failures) before calling it done Skills required: JavaScript (all custom logic is written in JS) Experience with workflow/automation platforms (node-based trigger → logic → action systems) API integration experience — Google Sheets API, Telegram Bot API, and LLM APIs (Gemini/GPT/Claude) Prompt engineering — able to get reliable, structured (JSON) output from an AI model, not just conversational replies Strong debugging instincts — comfortable tracing why something isn't working rather than guessing How we like to work: Clear, direct communication — we'll give you the exact schema/data structure to work against rather than leaving it ambiguous, and we expect the same clarity back (ask before assuming, flag issues early rather than after building the wrong thing) We test things incrementally — build one piece, confirm it works with real data, then move to the next, rather than building everything blind and debugging at the end Comfortable with async communication via [Upwork messages / Slack / whatever you actually use], with occasional calls for anything that needs back-and-forth.
