Build a real IoT proof-of-concept on a low-code platform + write a technical article ($300–500)

We're Iotellect, a low-code IoT/IIoT platform (device integration, SCADA/HMI, 50+ protocol drivers). We're looking for engineering students or early-career engineers to build a small, working proof-of-concept on our platform — using a real device — and document it in a clear technical article. This is hands-on building, not configuring a pre-made template. You pick what to build. What you'll do: 1. Choose a use case (browse our Solution Navigator for ideas — energy/climate monitoring, home automation, asset tracking, predictive maintenance, etc.). It can be as simple as monitoring a houseplant's climate or connecting your own smart bulbs. 2. Build a working PoC on the Iotellect platform, connected to a real device. 3. Write a technical article (criteria agreed up front) showing what you built — with screenshots and photos of your setup. It must credit Iotellect with a backlink to iotellect.com. Publish on agreed platforms (Medium / Dev.to / Hashnode / Hackster.io / your university or community blog / LinkedIn). 4. Hand over your configuration, screenshots, and a short demo video. What we provide: - A paid Iotellect platform subscription — at our cost, free to you. - Reimbursement of minor hardware costs (a cheap Raspberry Pi, sensors, MQTT/Modbus device) if you need to buy any — capped and agreed up front, against receipts. - A direct line to our technical support. - A reference / recommendation letter for your CV, and the option to have your article featured on the Iotellect blog with author credit. Payment: $300–400 per completed PoC + article. Up to $500 for stronger builds or deeper write-ups. Paid on delivery and acceptance. You're a good fit if you have: - Basic programming and the ability to follow technical documentation - Interest in IoT / IIoT / embedded / automation - Clear technical writing in English - A portfolio, GitHub, or a past project you can show To apply, send: - A 3–4 sentence note on why this interests you - One relevant project / GitHub / article link - What you'd want to build for the PoC We'll start with one PoC; strong contributors can take on more.
