Business Analyst/ Product manager - AI
Worldwide
About the role This is the connective-tissue role that makes our delivery work. You'll sit between our clients, our founder/product owner, and our engineering team — translating what clients actually need into a clear, versioned requirements baseline the team can build against, and protecting that baseline from scope creep. You are client-facing: you run the requirements conversations directly with clients (the sale is already done), draw out and prioritize use cases, and keep stakeholders aligned. You are also the analyst who turns vague product vision into buildable specs.\ What you'll do Own the requirements layer. Take a product owner's description of what a product does, understand it deeply (test it, play with it, find the holes), and produce a clear requirements spec the dev team can build from. Run client engagements directly. Sit with clients to draw out requirements, prioritize features (which matters most, what order, what needs fleshing out), and manage expectations against an agreed baseline. Maintain a versioned product baseline. Be the gatekeeper of what each product can do. When new requests appear, identify them as changes, route them properly (next release / paid scope), and prevent uncontrolled scope creep. Manage stakeholders and scope. Flag when something falls outside the agreed scope, coordinate between product owner, clients, and delivery, and keep everyone working from a single source of truth — not five competing lists. Drive delivery accountability. Track status, surface blockers and risks proactively, monitor progress against plan, and own requirement delivery rather than just reporting status. Translate vision into reality. Understand the product vision well enough to know what it must do, and bridge the gap between high-level ideas and what's actually been built and tested. What we're looking for Solid experience as a proper BA / requirements lead, ideally on platform-level (not just small) builds — senior enough to hold your own. Genuinely client-facing and people-strong: you can manage a demanding triangle of client, founder, and developers without folding. Working fluency with AI — you don't need to build models, but you need to understand what we're talking about, because it's central to everything we deliver. Strong on both the technical and the human side; able to test and validate work, not just relay messages. Self-directed: once briefed, you come back with the right things rather than needing constant questions answered. The right balance of experience and adaptability — seasoned enough to be credible, current enough to be on the AI ball. Logistics Full-time, fully remote.
