Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer

Seeking a senior Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer with extensive experience documenting requirements in multiple formats, including user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, functional specifications, process flows, business rules, and annotated wireframes. The successful candidate should be able to evaluate a project's needs and select the most appropriate documentation approach rather than relying on a single methodology. The ideal candidate has significant experience with web-based administrative interfaces, dashboards, reporting systems, user management tools, permissions models, audit logging, and other data-intensive applications. They should possess strong UX and product-thinking skills and be comfortable recommending improvements to workflows and interfaces, not simply documenting requirements provided by others. Candidates should have experience collaborating directly with project managers, designers, developers, and QA teams in Agile environments. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Figma, workflow mapping, API-driven applications, and database-backed systems is preferred. Particular preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked on enterprise administration portals, audit logs, permissions systems, compliance-related applications, identity and access management solutions, or similar back-office software. Experience with healthcare-related applications is considered an asset.
