What You’ll Actually Be Doing This is a hands-on Business Development Operations role working directly with the founder. The founder drives much of SEA’s business development through executive conversations, networking, referrals, content, Spotlights, and relationship-building activities. Your role is to help execute the follow-up, organization, nurturing, and operational activities that keep those relationships moving forward. This is not a sales role. You will not be responsible for closing deals. This is not an email marketing role. The strategy, messaging, and relationship approach are already established. Your job is execution. Relationship Nurturing & Follow-Up * Execute follow-up activities after meetings and business development conversations * Support ongoing relationship-building through LinkedIn, email, and other channels * Track engagement and relationship activity * Help maintain communication with executives, clients, candidates, and referral partners * Support SEA’s community and nurture initiatives Founder Support & Execution * Process meeting notes and action items * Track commitments, follow-ups, and next steps * Organize relationship intelligence and activity * Help ensure opportunities and conversations continue moving forward * Support outreach and engagement activities CRM & Operational Support * Maintain HubSpot and related systems * Update contact records, notes, and activity * Manage tasks, reminders, and follow-up schedules * Use AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and consistency What Success Looks Like You are organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with a founder. You enjoy execution. You take pride in making sure relationships are maintained, follow-ups happen, systems stay organized, and nothing important falls through the cracks. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and helping turn relationships into opportunities through consistent execution.
