# Business Development & Marketing Manager — Client-Facing Role for SEO Agency (Fluent English Required) ## About Us We're a leading SEO and link building agency serving 1,200+ global clients, including SaaS companies, AI startups, and enterprises. Our clients are primarily from tier-1 countries (USA, UK, Canada, Australia), and we're looking for a confident, client-facing professional to join our team. ## What We Need We're hiring a **Business Development & Marketing Manager** who will be the face of our agency to clients. Your main responsibility will be **conducting client meetings and managing ongoing client communication** — leading calls, providing updates, handling questions, and keeping our clients happy and informed throughout their projects. This is a client-facing role first, marketing role second. If you're great on video calls, write clear professional emails, and know how to build trust with international clients, this role is for you. ## Your Responsibilities - **Conduct client meetings** — lead onboarding calls, kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and strategy discussions via Zoom/Google Meet - **Manage client communication** — respond to client emails and messages promptly and professionally - **Provide regular updates** — keep clients informed on project progress, deliverables, and timelines - Understand client goals and communicate them clearly to our internal SEO team - Handle client questions, concerns, and expectations with confidence - Identify upsell and growth opportunities within existing client accounts - Support business development — sales calls with prospects, proposals, and follow-ups - Contribute to marketing initiatives that generate new leads for the agency ## Requirements - **Fluent, professional English (spoken and written) is a must** — you'll be on calls with clients from the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia, so clear communication and confidence on camera are non-negotiable - **Prior experience working with agencies** — you understand how agency-client relationships, deliverables, and timelines work - Proven experience in a **client-facing role** — account management, client success, business development, or similar - **Decent working knowledge of SEO is required** — we're an SEO agency, so you must be able to discuss SEO concepts (rankings, backlinks, audits, organic traffic) confidently with clients. You don't need to be an SEO expert, but you can't be lost when clients ask questions - Strong presentation and meeting management skills - Comfortable working across time zones to accommodate tier-1 client schedules (US/UK hours overlap) - Organized, reliable, and proactive — clients should never have to chase you for updates - Experience with tools like Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace, and CRM/project management tools **Bonus points:** - Deeper SEO or digital marketing knowledge - Experience selling SEO/link building or other digital marketing services - Track record of retaining and growing client accounts ## Budget & Engagement - Long-term, ongoing engagement for the right person - Open to hourly or monthly retainer — share your preferred structure and rates in your proposal ## How to Apply To be considered, please include in your proposal: 1.
