We're a fast-growing, founder-led company that acts as a "fractional AI director" for firms, guiding them from assessment to fully built-out AI workflows. Lots of inbound demand, real traction, and a clear mission: make accounting firms dramatically more capable with AI. The Role We're hiring a Business Development Representative to be the engine behind our sales pipeline. This is a high-activity, phone-first role for someone who loves talking to people, moving fast, and turning warm leads into booked appointments. What you'll do Call leads ASAP — the moment a lead comes in, you're on the phone to qualify and set appointments. This is the core of the role. Set appointments — qualify warm prospects and get them on the calendar with our team. Push pipeline forward — work an existing pipeline of leads, keeping every opportunity moving and nothing falling through the cracks. Multi-channel outreach — reach out to warm contacts in our lead list via phone, email, and LinkedIn. What we're looking for Comfortable and confident on the phone — you'd rather dial than wait Fast follow-up instincts; speed-to-lead is your default Strong written communicator for email and LinkedIn outreach Organized and persistent — you follow up until you get an answer Self-motivated and goal-driven Sales, SDR/BDR, appointment setting, or call-center experience is a plus (not required) If you're reading this, add keyword 'vanilla' to your application so I know it's not an automated application- thanks!
