Trusted by many of the nation's largest insurance carriers, Social Discovery transforms publicly available online activity into actionable intelligence that supports claims, litigation, investigations, fraud detection, and risk management. We're looking for a driven, persistent, and highly coachable Business Development Representative (BDR) to help introduce Social Discovery to new organizations and generate qualified meetings for our sales team. What Success Looks Like A successful BDR at Social Discovery consistently creates conversations with qualified decision-makers through outbound prospecting, relationship building, and strategic follow-up. Key Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting • Execute outbound campaigns through: o Cold calling o Cold email o LinkedIn outreach o Video messaging o Event follow-up o Referral generation • Build relationships with: o Claims leaders o SIU professionals o Risk managers o Legal operations leaders o Attorneys o Investigators o Insurance executives • Generate qualified meetings for Social Discovery Pipeline Development • Consistently create new opportunities through outbound prospecting • Follow established qualification frameworks • Manage prospect conversations from first touch through meeting booked • Ensure proper handoff of opportunities to the sales team • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking Event & Conference Outreach • Support pre-event and post-event outreach campaigns • Engage prospects attending industry events such as: o CLM o RIMS o CLOC o Legalweek o Industry conferences and trade shows • Generate meetings before and after events CRM & Reporting • Maintain accurate records within HubSpot • Document prospect interactions and meeting outcomes • Track activity metrics and performance • Participate in weekly pipeline and coaching reviews Ideal Candidate Experience Preferred: • 1-3 years in: o BDR o SDR o Business Development o Sales Development o Recruiting o Lead Generation Not required: • Insurance experience • Legal experience • Claims experience We can teach the industry.
