Business Development Research Assistant (B2B Software Consulting)

We're a small software consultancy looking for a business development research assistant to help identify potential clients and opportunities. The ideal candidate enjoys researching companies, understanding industries, identifying decision makers, and uncovering opportunities where our services would be a good fit. Responsibilities Research companies that may benefit from custom software development, simulation, interactive visualization, XR, robotics, or AI solutions. Identify key decision makers and relevant contact information. Find RFPs, RFQs, contract opportunities, and other potential leads. Build and maintain organized prospect lists. Research each prospect and provide notes on why they may be a good fit. Assist with preparing personalized outreach and tracking follow-ups. Requirements Strong research and analytical skills. Excellent written English. Experience with B2B lead generation, market research, or business development. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Nice to Have Experience researching software development or engineering services. Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar research tools. Experience identifying government contracting opportunities.
