We're seeking an experienced grant writer and funding specialist to help identify, prepare, and submit grant opportunities for **Luna's Training Academy**, a **minority- and woman-owned small business** based in **South Los Angeles, California**. The business is proudly owned by **Marisela Luna**. www.lunastraining.com We're looking for more than a grant writer—we're seeking a strategic partner who can manage the entire grant lifecycle, from researching funding opportunities through application preparation, submission, and post-award compliance. ### Scope of Work * Research federal, state, county, city, nonprofit, and private grant opportunities. * Identify grants specifically available to minority-owned, woman-owned, and underserved small businesses. * Develop a grant funding strategy and application calendar. * Gather and organize required documentation. * Write compelling grant narratives and supporting materials. * Prepare and submit complete grant applications before deadlines. * Track submissions and maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities. * Assist with follow-up requests, reporting requirements, and grant administration if awards are received. * Recommend additional funding sources, including SBA programs, workforce development grants, economic development initiatives, and private foundations. ### About Our Business Luna's Training Academy is committed to serving the local community while expanding its programs and impact. As a minority- and woman-owned business, we're especially interested in opportunities designed to support diverse entrepreneurs, workforce development, education, and community-based initiatives. ### Ideal Candidate * Proven track record securing grants for for-profit small businesses. * Experience with minority-owned and woman-owned business funding opportunities. * Strong grant research and persuasive writing skills. * Familiarity with California, Los Angeles County, City of Los Angeles, SBA, and private foundation grant programs. * Excellent organization, communication, and project management skills. * Ability to proactively identify funding opportunities without constant direction. ### Please Include in Your Proposal 1.
