CONNECTICUT ATTORNEY – ARBITRATION AWARD ENFORCEMENT & JUDGMENT COLLECTION COUNSEL Mobile General Counsel® is seeking an experienced Connecticut attorney to immediately assist with the domestication, confirmation, enforcement, and collection of a favorable arbitration award against a Connecticut resident. This matter requires urgent action. The ideal attorney can file this week and has significant experience converting arbitration awards into enforceable court judgments and pursuing post-judgment collection remedies under Connecticut law. Scope of Engagement The attorney will be responsible for: Reviewing a final arbitration award issued through the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Determining the appropriate Connecticut court and filing strategy. Filing all necessary pleadings to confirm and/or domesticate the arbitration award and obtain a Connecticut judgment. Advising regarding service requirements and procedural deadlines. Obtaining entry of judgment as quickly as permitted under Connecticut law. Conducting post-judgment asset investigation and debtor discovery. Identifying real property, business interests, bank accounts, investment accounts, vehicles, and other collectible assets. Recording judgment liens against any Connecticut real estate owned by the judgment debtor. Advising regarding attachment, execution, garnishment, turnover orders, bank executions, wage executions, and other available collection remedies. Developing and executing a comprehensive collection strategy designed to maximize recovery. Providing regular status updates and collection recommendations. Required Qualifications Active Connecticut Bar license in good standing. Significant experience enforcing arbitration awards. Demonstrated experience obtaining and collecting civil judgments in Connecticut. Experience recording judgment liens against real property. Experience conducting asset investigations and post-judgment discovery. Familiarity with Connecticut collection procedures, garnishments, executions, and enforcement mechanisms. Ability to move quickly and file immediately. Preferred Qualifications Experience enforcing AAA arbitration awards. Experience collecting six-figure judgments. Experience locating concealed or difficult-to-identify assets. Prior work involving business disputes, contract disputes, or consumer collections.
