Our company operates multiple eCommerce websites, online marketplaces, digital marketing channels, and content platforms. We continuously develop new products, publish technical content, expand our online presence, and coordinate specialized teams across several departments. We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to supervise our content, SEO, graphic design, social media, ecommerce, product creation, and marketplace teams. This role is focused on people management, workflow optimization, quality control, reporting, and operational excellence—not software development or IT. --- # About the Position This is **not** a traditional project management role. During your first **60 days**, you will work closely with the President on a daily basis to learn every aspect of our business, quality standards, workflows, decision-making process, communication style, and operational procedures. Your objective is to gradually assume **responsibility for the company's day-to-day digital operations**, supervise multiple specialized teams, improve workflows, implement efficient operating procedures, maintain our quality standards, and ensure projects are delivered on time. Although you will work directly with the President during your training period, you will also communicate, coordinate, and report to other members of the management team and department leaders whenever appropriate. As your experience grows, the President's involvement in daily operations will gradually decrease, allowing greater focus on strategic planning, partnerships, innovation, and business development while you oversee the execution of day-to-day digital operations. If you have exceptional supervisory and leadership skills to oversee multiple remote teams, improve workflows, ensure consistent quality, and help scale our ecommerce and digital marketing operations. The ideal candidate must have solid experience managing people, coordinating projects, and driving accountability across content, SEO, blogs, product creation and design,, social media, product management, and online marketplaces. This position is intended to become a long-term leadership opportunity for the right candidate. --- # Primary Responsibilities ## Team Leadership & Supervision Lead, coordinate, and supervise multiple specialized internal teams and external freelancers responsible for: * Content Creation * SEO * Technical SEO * Blogging * AI-Assisted Content Creation * Graphic Design * Product Image Production * Product Information * Website Updates * Product Creation * Marketplace Operations * Social Media * Video Production * Customer Support (when required) Your responsibility is to ensure all teams work efficiently together, meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and continuously improve operational performance. --- ## Digital Operations Management Coordinate and supervise the company's daily digital operations, including: * Project coordination * Workflow management * Team scheduling * Cross-department communication * Operational planning * Process improvement * Quality control * Publishing * Product Creation * Website updates * Marketplace coordination * AI workflow implementation * Operational reporting Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and communication across all departments. --- ## Content & SEO Operations Supervise specialized teams responsible for producing: * Technical Articles * Commercial Articles * Product Pages * Industry Pages * Landing Pages * FAQ Pages * Buying Guides * Comparison Articles * Educational Content * Blog Articles Ensure all published content meets company standards for: * Technical accuracy * SEO * Internal linking * External linking * EEAT principles * Brand consistency * Readability * Publishing quality --- ## Product Development & Workflow Supervision Coordinate and supervise the complete product development workflow across multiple specialized teams. Responsibilities include supervising: * Product information collection * Product specifications * Product image coordination * Image quality review * Video quality review * Listing reviews on Professional Platforms (Archdaily, BIM Objects....etc.) * Graphic design review and approval * Product page development * HTML review * Internal and external link verification * SEO review and approval * Publishing coordination * Final quality assurance before publication * Quality weekely reporting Your responsibility is to ensure works is performed efficiently within company objects and standards throughout the entire product development process. --- ## Website & Digital Platform Supervision You will **not** be expected to perform development or design work yourself. Instead, you will supervise specialized teams responsible for: * HTML * CSS * WordPress * WooCommerce * Volusion * Shopify * Website administration * Technical SEO * Website performance * Image optimization * Website maintenance A general understanding of these technologies is required so you can effectively communicate with developers, designers, SEO specialists, and technical staff. Your role is to: * Coordinate projects * Review completed work * Ensure quality standards are maintained * Communicate requirements clearly * Resolve operational issues * Prioritize projects * Coordinate between departments * Ensure deadlines are met --- ## Marketplace Operations Supervision Coordinate and supervise teams responsible for managing products across our various online marketplaces and eCommerce platforms. A solid understanding of marketplace operations is required. Platforms may include: * Wayfair * Amazon * Walmart Marketplace * Houzz * Google Merchant Center * eBay * Additional B2B and B2C marketplaces Supervise activities including: * Product launches * Product listings * Product descriptions * Technical specifications * Images and digital assets * Product categorization * SEO optimization * Pricing coordination * Marketplace compliance * Product updates * Quality assurance You will not be expected to personally work on marketplace listings...etc, but you must possess sufficient knowledge to supervise specialized teams, review completed work, identify issues, and coordinate successful results across all sales channels. --- ## Graphic Design Supervision Coordinate and Review creative work to ensure consistency with company branding, quality standards, and project requirements. --- ## Social Media Operations Coordinate and supervise teams responsible for: * LinkedIn * Facebook * Instagram * YouTube * Pinterest * X (Twitter) Oversee: * Editorial calendars * Content scheduling * Graphic production * Performance reporting --- ## AI Productivity & Operational Improvement Leverage AI technologies to improve operational efficiency throughout the organization. Expected experience includes tools such as: * ChatGPT * Claude * Gemini * Perplexity * Other AI productivity platforms Use AI to: * Improve workflows * Increase productivity * Reduce repetitive work * Develop SOPs * Improve reporting * Improve internal communication * Streamline business operations --- ## Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Document, organize, improve, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for recurring business activities. Develop systems that allow teams to operate consistently, efficiently, and with minimal operational bottlenecks. --- ## Reporting & Communication Prepare clear, organized, and professional reports including: * Team performance * Project status * Operational progress * SEO updates * Content production * Marketplace activities * Website updates * Social media performance * Challenges * Solutions * Weekly priorities * Recommendations Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Although your primary reporting relationship will be with the President, you will also coordinate and communicate effectively with other members of the management teams whenever necessary. --- # First Six Months During your onboarding and training period, you will work directly with the President to learn the requirements of systems, workflows, and quality standards.
