Business Podcast Video Editor – Weekly Episodes

Video Post-Production for Business Podcast Overview We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented podcast video editor to handle weekly post-production and publishing for an established video podcast. Episodes typically run 30–60 minutes and feature two hosts discussing business strategy in a fast-paced, informal but professional conversation that includes personality and humor. The most important part of the role is turning a raw recording into a tight, polished conversation that still sounds completely natural. Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail are essential. Familiarity with Riverside and its AI editing tools is strongly preferred. Scope of Work Edit each episode in Riverside, carefully reviewing its AI-generated edits to remove unnecessary pauses, filler words, stammers and false starts; fix awkward cuts and overlapping dialogue; and preserve natural pacing, laughter and reactions. After host review, complete the final edit in Final Cut Pro or comparable software, including our standard intro/outro, music, ad reads, etc. Also handle: - YouTube and Riverside upload/scheduling - Descriptions, tags and YouTube chapters - Thumbnail creation using our existing design format - Show notes and key takeaways - Creating the episode web page in Squarespace using our existing template Additional Information This is a weekly recurring engagement, with new episodes published every Friday. Recordings are generally available about one week in advance, with the initial edit due Monday evening and final production completed later that week. We are looking for someone with professional podcast/video editing experience, native English fluency, excellent editorial judgment and strong attention to detail. Experience with Riverside is strongly preferred; YouTube publishing, thumbnail creation, and Squarespace/CMS experience are also helpful.
