Buying Your Unreleased Acoustic / Corporate Instrumental Track, $200 Full Buyout

## Job Description (paste this into Upwork) We're a business looking to buy a finished, unreleased instrumental track outright. We are not commissioning new music, and we don't want a custom composition written from scratch. If you have a professional track already sitting in your catalog, like a rejected pitch or an unused library cut, something finished but never placed, we want to buy it from you. The deal is simple. You sell us a track you already made, we pay you $200, and you're done. No revisions, no production time, no back and forth. It's found money for something you already finished. In exchange, we're buying full, exclusive ownership, not a license. This music will run across many of our business social media accounts, so it has to be ours and only ours, with nobody else able to claim it or flag it. ### What we're looking for (style) Clean, upbeat, professional instrumental. Think acoustic or corporate: light guitar, piano, subtle rhythm, warm and positive. Clean ambient or light cinematic works too, as long as it stays upbeat and business-appropriate. We'll be putting voiceovers over this track, so it needs to sit nicely underneath spoken audio. That means no distracting or attention-grabbing elements: no whistling, finger snapping, humming, clapping, vocal chops, or similar sounds that compete with a voiceover. Smooth and steady is what we're after. A few more things the track needs to have, since they matter for how we'll use it: - **Length:** at least 3 minutes, and longer is better. We'd rather have too much to work with than too little. - **Consistent throughout:** the volume and intensity should stay fairly even from start to finish. No big dramatic builds, no dropouts, and no fade-out ending. - **Loopable:** it should be arranged so it loops back on itself cleanly. When the track repeats, the end should flow smoothly into the beginning without an obvious seam, so we can extend it under longer videos. Not a fit: vocals of any kind, EDM, house, techno, trap, hip hop beats, or heavy club and beatmaker production. Instrumental only. ### What you must be able to warrant (non-negotiable) Because we're buying ownership, every one of these has to be true, and you'll confirm them in writing before we release payment: 1. You are the sole author of both the composition and the recording. No co-writers, no uncredited session players, no producer with a claim. It's 100% yours to sell. 2. It's 100% original with no third-party material. No samples, no construction kits, no pre-made loops (Splice, Apple Loops, and so on). A loop you built the track around still belongs to whoever made it, so tracks built on packs don't qualify. 3. It's not currently on any stock or library platform (Epidemic Sound, Artlist, AudioJungle, Musicbed, and the like). Those are non-exclusive licenses, so you can't sell us ownership of something a library also licenses to others. Please don't submit library tracks. 4. Its registration is clean or clearable. If the track is currently registered with a PRO (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, PRS, and so on) or exists in YouTube Content ID or any fingerprinting or distribution system, you must be able and willing to fully de-register and remove it, and provide proof, before final payment. 5. You can deliver the files: final WAV, all stems (isolated instrument tracks), and ideally the native project file (Logic, Ableton, FL Studio, and so on) so our editors can re-cut and loop it. ### What you're granting Full worldwide, perpetual, all-media ownership as a work for hire or exclusive assignment, with a moral rights waiver and no future royalties. Upwork's contract terms handle the IP transfer on full payment, and we'll confirm the specific warranties above in messages before releasing funds. ### How it works 1. Attach a watermarked preview (a voice tag or tone every 20 seconds or so is fine) with your proposal. Please don't send the clean file yet. 2. Answer the three screening questions. They're required. 3. If selected, you confirm the warranties above, begin any needed de-registration or Content ID removal, and send proof. 4. Once proof is in, we release the $200 and you deliver the clean WAV, stems, and project file.
