CAD / CNC Design for Clocks

We are developing a line of custom LED clocks with a CNC-machined wooden outer frame, and we’re looking for a creative CAD/CNC designer or programmer to help us develop a variety of unique frame designs. The core clock construction is already established. What we need help with is the outside wooden portion of the clock — creating visually interesting CNC-machinable designs that feel more like sculptural product design than a standard flat clock frame. We want to explore a range of styles, including: Smooth flowing and wavy carved textures Layered and stepped surfaces with multiple depths Sculptural 3D relief patterns Sacred geometry and geometric patterns Organic/topographic textures Labyrinth and maze-inspired designs Psychedelic or optical flowing patterns Clean, sleek and upscale architectural designs Repeating patterns with varying elevations Cut-through/open sections where appropriate Negative-space designs Raised and recessed areas Designs that transition between different depths rather than simply being engraved lines Patterns that wrap naturally around a circular clock frame Some designs may be relatively subtle and elegant, while others can be more dimensional, abstract, wavy, or visually dramatic. The goal is for the wood frame itself to become a major design feature of the clock. What We’re Looking For We need someone who understands both creative CAD design and real CNC manufacturing. You should be able to take reference images, sketches, textures, patterns, or general visual direction from us and translate them into CAD geometry that can actually be machined. You are not required to use Fusion 360. We are open to whatever professional CAD/CAM workflow you prefer, as long as the final files can be used for CNC production and exchanged in standard formats.
