CAD/DWG Automation Developer for MVP Floor Plan Tool

We are looking for a practical CAD automation developer to help build the first MVP of a floor plan measuring tool. The project involves messy 2D DWG/DXF floor plans. We need to turn raw CAD geometry data into useful building/engineering context: rooms, walls, openings, room boundaries, exterior vs partition walls, areas and spatial relationships. This is not a drafting, BIM modeling, generic web development, or generic AI automation project. We need someone who can help us build a realistic assisted workflow, not promise perfect full automation from day one. The MVP should help answer: - what can be detected automatically - what needs manual correction - how to classify CAD geometry into useful building elements - how to handle imperfect drawings, layers, blocks, gaps, tolerances and snapping - how to show uncertainty/confidence to the user Relevant experience: - Python, C#/.NET, AutoCAD API or AutoLISP - DXF/DWG/CAD geometry processing - ezdxf, Shapely, GEOS, CGAL, JTS or similar - computational geometry, topology or graph logic - room/area detection, floor plan analysis or quantity takeoff - Revit API, Dynamo, IFC/BIM or GIS experience is a plus Ideal fit: someone who can prototype, test with real CAD files, explain technical tradeoffs clearly, and help us decide what is realistic for the first working MVP.
