CAD Designer & Patent Illustrator (Fusion 360 / Design Patent Drawings)

We are seeking an experienced CAD designer who can create USPTO-compliant design patent drawings as well as the underlying 3D model (Fusion 360 or equivalent CAD software). Project Scope: Start with client-provided images, sketches, or rough prototypes of an invention. Create a clean, accurate 3D model of the product for review and approval. Once approved, generate the full set of required design patent figures (perspective, orthographic views, sectional/exploded if needed). Apply proper USPTO-style shading, line weights, and consistency across all drawings. Deliverables include: 3D CAD model file (Fusion 360 preferred, but other formats acceptable). Vector PDFs of drawings (USPTO-ready). Source CAD/illustration files (AI/DWG/DXF/etc.). Requirements: Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360 (or comparable CAD software). Prior experience creating design patent drawings (please provide portfolio or samples). Understanding of USPTO drawing requirements (black-and-white line art, shading standards, etc.). Ability to produce professional, clean, and accurate figures. Strong attention to detail, good communication, and ability to work from rough sketches. Nice to Have: Experience with utility patent drawings/specifications. Comfort creating exploded/sectional diagrams if helpful. Knowledge of the patent process. Deliverables: Draft model + draft figure(s) for client approval. Final USPTO-compliant drawing set (1–3 figures for provisional, more as needed for non-provisional).
