CAD Designer / 3D Printing Specialist for Fast Turnaround Prototype Parts

We are looking for a skilled CAD designer and 3D printing specialist who can help us quickly design and prototype functional parts for fitness equipment and related products. Most projects involve real-world mechanical parts, spacers, brackets, adapters, covers, mounts, fixtures, and other functional components that must fit existing hardware and be ready for testing. Requirements: • Strong CAD experience (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape, or similar) • Experience designing parts specifically for FDM 3D printing • Understanding of tolerances, clearances, hardware, fasteners, and mechanical assemblies • Ability to work from photos, measurements, sketches, videos, and verbal descriptions • Ability to communicate clearly and ask questions when needed • Fast turnaround times Nice to Have: • Experience with fitness equipment or mechanical products • Experience designing production-ready injection molded parts • Access to your own 3D printer for fitment verification • Engineering background Typical Projects: • Spacers and shims • Handle modifications • Brackets and mounting hardware • Covers and trim pieces • Adapter plates • Replacement components • Product improvements and upgrades • Prototype concepts for new fitness equipment What We Need: We move quickly and are looking for someone who can become a long-term resource. Many projects require same-day or next-day turnaround for initial concepts and revisions.
