CAD Engineer for SolidWorks and Onshape

We are looking for an experienced CAD mechanical designer to support ongoing hydropower turbine and mechanical product development work. The expected workload is approximately half-time for several weeks, with the possibility of continued collaboration if the work quality and communication are good. The work involves SolidWorks and Onshape modelling for mechanical assemblies, steel structures, sheet-metal parts, machined parts, flanges, shafts, supports, bearing housings, and installation components. A key requirement is experience with complex curved geometry, especially shapes similar to propellers, fans, turbine blades, pump impellers, guide vanes, ducts, cones, and shrouds. You should be comfortable with lofts, sweeps, guide curves, boundary surfaces, 3D sketches, reference planes, surface modelling, and preferably airfoil or hydrofoil profiles. We need clean parametric CAD models, not just visual 3D models. The geometry should remain editable where possible, with dimensions such as diameter, pitch, chord, hub size, blade angle, and number of blades controlled in a structured way.
