3D CAD Industrial Designer Needed for Cosmetic Pen Concept (2D to 3D

Mechanical Product Designer / SolidWorks CAD Engineer for Small Beauty-Tool Mechanism Fixed Budget: $150 I am looking for a Mechanical Product Designer / CAD Engineer to convert my original 2D concept sketches into a functional 3D CAD design for a small handheld beauty-product tool with an internal mechanical assembly. The exact design and technical details are confidential and will only be shared after an NDA is signed. Required Experience - Strong experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Autodesk Inventor - Experience designing small multi-part mechanical assemblies - Understanding of interlocking components, fits, clearances, and tolerances - Experience with plastic product design and/or injection-molded parts is highly preferred - Ability to create a 3D mechanical design from a detailed 2D sketch and verbal/written instructions Please do not apply if your primary experience is only in Blender, Maya, SketchUp, architectural CAD, graphic design, or visual product mockups. Scope of Work The selected designer will: - Convert my sketches into individual 3D components - Assemble the components into a functional mechanical assembly - Help determine reasonable dimensions/clearances where necessary - Create a cross-sectional view showing the internal mechanism - Create an exploded-view assembly - Make minor revisions based on my feedback This is an initial proof-of-concept CAD project, not final production tooling or mold design. Deliverables - Complete 3D CAD assembly - Individual CAD parts - Exploded-view assembly - Cross-sectional/internal views - Basic dimensioned 2D technical drawings - STEP/STP files - Editable/native CAD source files - SolidWorks: ".SLDPRT" / ".SLDASM", or equivalent native files if another approved CAD program is used - High-quality rendered images of the assembled product - 1–2 reasonable revision rounds Confidentiality The product is an original invention. The selected freelancer must agree to and sign an NDA/confidentiality agreement before receiving any detailed technical sketches or information. The freelancer may not publish, display, share, or use the project in a portfolio without my written permission.
