I have an existing helmet model that was generated from AI and imported into Blender. The model requires cleanup, structural improvements, and integration of mounting components before final 3D printing. The goal is to create a strong, production-ready helmet shell with integrated mounting features that can withstand vibration and load from an attached pole-mounted device. Required Modifications 1. Smooth & Repair Helmet Shell * Remove all artifacts, surface defects, and mesh imperfections. * Fill all gaps, voids, and weak areas. * Smooth both interior and exterior shell surfaces. * Face mask area must be filled and blended into the shell. * Create a clean, uniform surface suitable for printing. 2. Pole Clearance Cut * Create an angled through-hole in the helmet shell. * Hole must match the size and angle of the clamp opening. * Pole should pass completely through the shell without interference. * Add a 45-degree clearance cut where required to prevent component interference. 3. Integrated Structural Mounting System The current mounting system consists of: * Rear mounting plane * Two side mounting planes * Front half-moon mount These components must: * Be recessed and embedded into the helmet shell. * Become part of the shell structure rather than simply attached surfaces. * Blend smoothly into the shell interior. * Maximize strength and rigidity. * Distribute loads into the shell wall. 4. Half-Moon Mount * Convert top half-moon into a completely solid one-piece component. * Eliminate any hollow sections. * Fully integrate into helmet shell. * Add mounting holes through the half-moon and shell. 5. Mounting Holes Add bolt holes in the specified locations. Requirements: * Same diameter as existing mounting holes. * Holes must pass through: * Half-moon mount * Helmet shell * Mounting structure * Designed so shell and mount can be bolted together. * Placement locations have been marked on screenshots. 6. Interior Cleanup * Fill all interior imperfections shown in screenshots. * Remove sharp transitions and voids. * Ensure interior surfaces are printable and structurally sound. * Blend embedded mounting structures smoothly into the shell. Deliverables * Blender (.blend) * STEP file * STL file ready for printing * Final manifold/watertight mesh * Separate version optimized for Creality K1 Max printing Software Preference * Blender * Fusion 360 * FreeCAD * SolidWorks ### What I Will Provide * Existing Blender file * STL files * Reference screenshots with marked modifications * Detailed notes showing mounting hole locations, embedded structures, and clearance cuts ### Ideal Freelancer Looking for someone experienced with: * Blender hard-surface modeling * Repairing AI-generated meshes * Structural design for 3D printing * Fusion 360 or SolidWorks * Creating watertight/manifold printable models
