CAD design for exclusive silicone chair leg protector with felt bottom

Project: CAD design for exclusive silicone chair leg protector with felt bottom We are looking for an experienced CAD / industrial product designer to create a manufacturable design for a small flexible silicone/rubber household product. Product: A chair leg protector for round chair legs, with silicone/rubber body and felt bottom. This is not a copying task. The goal is to create a clearly original design with a different and unique overall visual impression from existing market products. Pilot size: Round chair legs, approx. 14–21 mm. Core customer problems: * “Will it fit my chair leg?” * “Will it stay on?” * “Will it slide smoothly and quietly?” * “Will it protect my floor?” * “Will it tear or wear out quickly?” Important design goals: 1. Clearly different external shape/silhouette from existing market models. 2. Suitable for flexible silicone/rubber molding. 3. Designed for round chair legs around 14–21 mm. 4. Also suitable for slightly tapered or slightly angled round legs where possible. 5. Stronger top edge to reduce tearing risk. 6. Snug fit, but not unnecessarily difficult to install. 7. Bottom area suitable for felt application. 8. Designed for smooth sliding, noise reduction and floor protection. 9. Avoid shape choices that make the product look like a direct copy of existing products. Supplier technical input: * Preferred file format: STEP/STP * Production tolerance: ±0.2 mm * Material: silicone/rubber + felt * Reference hardness: silicone around 50 Shore A; rubber around 70 Shore A * Recessed bottom for felt is not required, but designer may advise if useful Deliverables: 1. Three (3) rough concept directions. 2. One (1) selected concept developed into a manufacturable CAD model. 3. STEP/STP file. 4. Source CAD file. 5. Basic 2D technical drawing with key dimensions. 6. Short design note explaining: * wall thickness assumptions; * stretch/fit logic; * top-edge anti-tear logic; * felt-bottom area; * manufacturability assumptions. 7. Top, bottom, side and perspective views for review. Budget: €150–500 fixed price. Required experience: * CAD for manufacturable products * SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, Creo or similar * STEP/STP export * Small consumer product experience * Molded silicone/rubber experience preferred * Design-for-manufacturing mindset Please respond with: 1.
