CLO 3D Apparel Designer

Petit Clair is seeking a highly detail-oriented CLO 3D specialist to join our product development team. This is not a fashion design role. Our design team creates concepts and direction. Your responsibility will be to accurately translate those concepts into realistic, production-ready 3D garments using CLO 3D. Responsibilities: • Create and maintain a library of 3D garment blocks and styles in CLO 3D • Import, build, and adjust garment patterns for accurate simulation and draping • Modify existing 3D styles based on design team feedback • Apply fabrics, trims, artwork, embroidery, prints, and colors • Ensure all design details, proportions, and garment construction are accurately represented • Produce high-quality, realistic renderings for internal review before sampling • Collaborate closely with designers, technical designers, and product development teams Requirements: • Strong CLO 3D experience • Patternmaking and garment construction knowledge • Ability to work from tech packs, sketches, reference images, and written comments • Exceptional attention to detail • Ability to follow direction precisely rather than create original fashion concepts • Experience in apparel product development preferred • Experience with children's apparel is a plus We are looking for someone who enjoys executing designs accurately, solving technical garment challenges, and creating highly realistic 3D apparel visualizations that can be used to reduce sampling and speed up product development.
