CLO 3D Pattern Tester & Technical Pattern Maker Wanted – Fit Correction & Grading Review

I am a digital product creator and business owner selling digital sewing patterns. I am looking for a talented, long-term Technical Pattern Maker & CLO 3D Expert to join my creative workflow. Moving forward, I want to ensure 100% precision and fit accuracy across my entire catalog before publishing. Your role will be to serve as our quality controller, testing my drafted patterns on 3D avatars, identifying grading or drafting errors, and implementing necessary technical corrections. Key Responsibilities: 3D Simulation & Fit Testing: Import our drafted patterns (PDF/DXF format) into CLO 3D to test them on standard avatars across the entire size range (typically XS to 3XL). Technical Audits & Quality Control: Perform thorough measurement checks to catch flaws prior to launch (e.g., verifying that waistbands allow proper hip clearance for non-stretch woven fabrics, checking seam length matching, and auditing grading charts). Pattern Corrections: Implement adjustments directly on the digital files to fix any fit or grading issues you discover during testing. Visual Deliverables: Provide clean 3D renderings/screenshots from CLO 3D (front, side, and back views) showcasing how the finished garment hangs on the avatar. Production-Ready Files: Deliver final, corrected, and layered digital pattern files ready for commercial release. What We Are Looking For: Expert-level proficiency in CLO 3D (or Marvelous Designer) combined with digital pattern engineering tools. Deep knowledge of apparel construction, grading mathematics, and sizing charts (US/UK/EU standards). Meticulous attention to technical details—you should be able to spot math discrepancies between flat patterns and specification sheets easily. Great communication skills in English and responsiveness to feedback. This is an ongoing, project-by-project position. As we regularly develop and release new apparel patterns, we want to establish a reliable partnership with someone who can bring our designs to life flawlessly in 3D.
