CMMC Level 2 Assessor / Consultant — DoD DIB Experience Required

CMMC Level 2 Compliance Consultant Needed ABOUT THIS ROLE We are looking for a cybersecurity compliance professional with direct hands-on experience guiding Department of Defense contractors through CMMC Level 2 certification. We need someone who has already taken at least one company through this process from start to finish, not someone who is studying for credentials or new to the field. RESPONSIBILITIES Assess organizations against CMMC Level 2 requirements Identify gaps and build remediation roadmaps Develop and review security documentation including system security plans and action plans Help organizations collect evidence and prepare for third party audits Define assessment scope and document information flow Develop security policies and procedures aligned to Level 2 requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Current and active CMMC credential such as Certified CMMC Assessor or Certified CMMC Professional Proven experience completing at least one CMMC Level 2 engagement from gap analysis through final assessment Strong knowledge of NIST framework and its security practices Experience writing system security plans, action plans, and compliance documentation Ability to explain compliance requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with security configuration benchmarks and device hardening Background in virtual CISO services or security program development Prior military IT or information assurance experience Additional security certifications such as CompTIA Security Plus or CISSP YOUR PROPOSAL Please describe your current CMMC credentials and share a brief summary of a Level 2 engagement you have completed.
