Summary

We are looking for an experienced COO, VP of Operations, or senior Supply Chain executive to work directly with our operations leadership team as a hands-on executive coach and operating advisor. This is not a traditional executive coaching role. We are specifically looking for someone who has personally operated warehouses, distribution centers, transportation, inventory, and supply-chain teams and can challenge our thinking, identify operational weaknesses, and help us build a stronger operating system. We are a growing wholesale distribution company with multiple facilities and a large warehouse operation. We are actively improving our warehouse processes, WMS utilization, labor productivity, inventory management, purchasing, receiving, picking, transportation, and management structure. What You Will Do You will work directly with our senior operations leadership to: Coach us on how to lead a larger and more complex organization Help us become stronger strategic and operational leaders Challenge our assumptions and decision-making Help us identify blind spots in our leadership Improve delegation and accountability Help us develop and manage our leadership team Improve how we communicate expectations and performance Help establish stronger management rhythms and operating cadence Coach us through difficult personnel and organizational decisions Help us prioritize initiatives and avoid chasing too many things at once Provide an outside perspective when we are stuck on an issue Help us think like executives rather than constantly operating at the tactical level Hold us accountable to the leadership improvements we commit to making Experience in the following industries is particularly valuable: Wholesale distribution Grocery distribution Convenience-store distribution Food & beverage Consumer products Logistics 3PL Manufacturing/distribution
