CPA Needed for QuickBooks Cleanup and Multi-Year Business & Personal Tax Returns

We're looking for an experienced U.S.-based CPA or accounting professional to help us clean up our QuickBooks records and prepare multiple years of business and personal tax returns. Our accounting has fallen behind over the past few years, and we're looking for someone who can review our current records, identify what needs to be cleaned up, and help us get everything organized and up to date. The ideal candidate has experience with both bookkeeping cleanup and tax preparation and can identify issues that may affect the accuracy of the tax returns before they're filed. The project may include: * Reviewing and cleaning up QuickBooks records * Reconciling accounts and correcting bookkeeping errors * Preparing accurate financial statements * Preparing multiple years of business tax returns * Preparing multiple years of personal tax returns * Identifying any missing information or items requiring follow-up * Recommending best practices for maintaining accurate books going forward We're looking for someone who communicates well, is detail-oriented, and has experience handling catch-up accounting projects. Please include the following in your proposal: * A brief summary of your experience with QuickBooks cleanup and multi-year tax projects. * An example of a similar engagement you've completed (no confidential information, please). * How you typically evaluate a cleanup project before providing a quote. * Your hourly rate and whether you also provide fixed-fee pricing after reviewing the books. The initial engagement will focus on evaluating the current records and outlining the scope of work. If it's a good fit, there may be an opportunity for additional accounting and tax work in the future. Active CPA or EA credentials are preferred, although experienced accounting professionals with a strong background in QuickBooks cleanup and tax preparation are also encouraged to apply.
