CPA for Accounting and Taxes

Seeking a reliable CPA or experienced tax/accounting professional for a small S-Corp with one client. The work includes periodic Wave review, tax oversight, year-end planning, and making sure the business accounting is set up and maintained correctly. The priority is accuracy, initiative, accountability, and a smooth working relationship. We use Gusto for payrol. Business Context: Small, U.S.-based S-Corporation. Current focus includes tax return accuracy, payroll and 401(k) coordination, and year-end tax planning. My previous long-term CPA relationship lasted more than 8 years (retired), so the preference is to find someone reliable for an ongoing working relationship. Scope of Work Review and oversee the accounting side of the business. Periodically access and review Wave to confirm entries and reports are accurate. Prepare or support preparation of business and personal tax return information as needed. Ensure S-Corp items such as payroll, compensation, K-1 support, and related tax reporting are handled correctly. Provide tax planning before year-end so the business is structured efficiently and does not overpay taxes. Identify appropriate deductions, process improvements, and controls for a well-run small company. Ask the right questions early so nothing important is missed.
