Summary

We are looking for a CRO/UX specialist to review an existing AI-powered consumer web app and provide practical recommendations for improving the landing/home page, onboarding flow, and new feature integration. This is not a Figma design, UI mockup, branding, or frontend implementation project. We already have a development team. We need an experienced CRO/UX reviewer who can evaluate the product flow and suggest better layout, messaging, CTA placement, and user journey improvements. Project context: The product is being repositioned from a simple “current analysis” tool into a personalized improvement system. A new feature will compare the user’s current profile with their goal profile and show a gap/alignment percentage, key differences, and recommended next actions. Scope of the initial paid audit: After the contract starts, we will provide access to the current product flow and a brief explanation of the planned new feature. The audit should cover: * New-user flow, including free trial, signup, dashboard, and core feature flow * Current landing/home page conversion path * How the existing analysis page could be split into “Current Profile” and “Goal Profile” * Where and how the new comparison/bridge feature should be introduced * How the dashboard could show completion status, readiness, and gap/alignment percentage * Major UX/CRO friction points * CTA placement, section order, and practical layout recommendations Deliverables: * A short written CRO/UX audit document with practical recommendations * Top 5–10 prioritized UX/CRO recommendations * Annotated screenshots for 3–5 key screens/pages, with comments on layout, CTA placement, user friction, and suggested improvements * Practical recommendations covering: - Landing/home section order and CTA flow - Analysis page flow for “Current Profile” and “Goal Profile” - Entry point and positioning for the new comparison/bridge feature - Dashboard status/gap card placement - CTA copy and placement suggestions * Simple rough layout notes or low-fidelity sketches only if needed to explain the recommendation clearly Important: We do not expect a full strategy report, polished Figma design, high-fidelity UI mockups, branding work, or frontend implementation. However, the feedback should be specific enough for a non-designer founder and an existing development team to understand what should be changed and why. Expected effort: The initial audit is expected to take around 5 hours. If the audit provides useful insights, we may extend the contract for additional UX review, layout recommendations, or feedback on simple wireframes. Please include in your proposal: 1. One relevant past example of a CRO/UX audit, landing page review, onboarding review, or SaaS/product flow review. 2. A brief explanation of how you would structure a 5-hour paid audit after the contract starts. 3. Your preferred feedback format: written document, Upwork message, annotated screenshots, or recorded walkthrough.
