Job Description I’m a licensed General Contractor in California looking for a California-licensed Structural Engineer to provide structural calculations and stamped drawings for a small free-standing structure. Project Details Structure size: approximately 13’ x 19’ Detached/free-standing structure Architectural/site plans are already drawn Need engineering for: Free-span beam sizing Column sizing Structural load calculations California code compliance Engineer stamp for permit submission Scope of Work Review existing plans Provide structural calculations Specify beam and column requirements Deliver stamped structural sheets/calcs suitable for California permitting Requirements Must be a licensed Structural or Civil Engineer in California Experience with residential/light commercial structures and permit packages Familiarity with California building codes and local permitting requirements Ability to communicate clearly and turn revisions quickly if required by the city Deliverables Structural calculations (PDF) Stamped structural drawings/details Any required revisions for permitting comments
