Outbound Call Centre Representative / Lead Generation Specialist Remote Position – New Zealand Time Zones Phillipine Times to be adjusted around the New Zealand time frames. 15 hours per week innitially offered. At $7.50 USD per hour. We are seeking a confident, motivated, and results-driven Outbound Call Centre Representative to generate high-quality leads and book qualified appointments for our Insurance Advisor. This is primarily an outbound sales and lead generation role involving cold calling, prospecting, and appointment setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, engaging them in meaningful conversations, and securing meetings with our Insurance Advisor. Key Responsibilities Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients. Generate and qualify new leads through phone outreach and research. Introduce insurance solutions and identify customer needs. Schedule and confirm appointments for the Insurance Advisor. Follow up with prospects and maintain engagement throughout the sales process. Accurately record all interactions, leads, and appointments within the CRM system. Meet weekly lead generation and appointment-setting targets. Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times. Requirements Previous experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, lead generation, appointment setting, or call centre environments. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence in making high volumes of cold calls. Strong objection-handling and persuasion skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Good organizational and time-management abilities. Experience using CRM software is preferred. Reliable internet connection and a professional remote working environment. Performance Expectations & Contract Terms The primary objective of this role is to generate high-quality leads and secure qualified appointments for the Insurance Advisor. A minimum target of 4 confirmed meetings per week must be achieved. The client places greater importance on the quality of appointments and leads than simply obtaining a positive response from prospects. Appointments must be booked with genuinely interested and qualified individuals who are suitable prospects for insurance services. The client reserves the right to terminate the contract at any stage during the contract period if performance expectations are not met, including failure to achieve the minimum target of 4 confirmed meetings per week or failure to maintain acceptable lead quality standards. Training & Support Comprehensive onboarding and training will be provided. Successful candidates will receive a full afternoon training session covering the insurance products, target market, lead qualification criteria, appointment-setting process, and expectations for the role. Success in This Role Success will be measured by: The number of qualified leads generated. The number of confirmed appointments secured. The quality of appointments booked for the Insurance Advisor. Consistent achievement of weekly performance targets.
