On-Camera Tutorial Creator + Video Editor for ModernCommerce and Moodle Training Course
Worldwide
We’re looking for an experienced software tutorial creator who can produce a complete 1–3 hour video course showing users how to set up and use ModernCommerce with Moodle. You will own the full production process: learn the software, plan the course, write the script, record the tutorial, provide clear narration or on-camera presentation, edit the footage, and deliver a polished, publish-ready training course. This is not just a video-editing job. We will provide product access, documentation, and guidance, but you must be comfortable learning software independently and explaining it clearly to Moodle administrators, course creators, and business owners. About the project ModernCommerce extends Moodle with e-commerce capabilities, allowing organizations to sell courses and related products online. The course should guide a user through the complete process—from initial setup to launching and managing a working Moodle commerce site. The final video should be practical, well organized, and easy for someone to follow while working inside their own Moodle installation. The audience may have experience using Moodle but limited technical or e-commerce knowledge. Suggested course topics The exact outline will be finalized together, but the course may cover: Introduction to ModernCommerce and its Moodle integration System requirements and prerequisites Installing and configuring ModernCommerce Connecting ModernCommerce with Moodle Initial store and administrative settings Creating and configuring products Linking Moodle courses to products Setting prices, discounts, and promotional offers Configuring payment gateways Customer registration, checkout, and course enrollment Managing orders, customers, refunds, and cancellations Email notifications and customer communications Subscriptions, memberships, bundles, or other supported selling options Testing the complete purchase and enrollment process Common configuration mistakes and troubleshooting Recommended practices for launching a production store You should be able to recommend improvements to this outline after exploring the product. What you’ll do Review the documentation and use the provided ModernCommerce and Moodle test environment. Learn and test the workflows that will be demonstrated. Create a structured course outline divided into clear chapters or lessons. Write the narration, script, or detailed presentation notes. Submit the outline and script for approval before recording. Record high-quality screen demonstrations with clear English narration. Include an on-camera introduction and lesson transitions if appropriate. Edit the recordings into a polished, professional training course. Add zooms, callouts, highlights, captions, and light graphics where they improve understanding. Complete up to two reasonable revision rounds. Deliver the final videos, captions, raw recordings, and editable project files. Deliverables 1–3 hours of finished instructional content Course divided into logical chapters or individual lesson files 1080p minimum resolution; 4K preferred Clean screen recordings with readable interface text Professional English narration On-camera presentation where agreed Intro, outro, chapter titles, and lesson transitions Helpful cursor highlights, zooms, annotations, and callouts Burned-in captions where appropriate Separate .srt caption files Course outline and final scripts Chapter titles and timestamps One short promotional trailer or course overview Course thumbnail or cover-image options Raw footage and editable project files Final files suitable for YouTube and an online learning platform Requirements Proven experience creating software tutorials, online courses, or product walkthroughs Portfolio containing at least two tutorials you personally recorded and edited Excellent spoken English with a clear, natural teaching style Ability to learn unfamiliar software and explain it to beginners Experience recording browser-based software without exposing private information Strong screen-recording and video-editing skills Ability to maintain consistency across a long-form, multi-chapter course Good microphone, quiet recording environment, and professional recording setup Reliable communication and willingness to provide progress updates Ability to deliver source files at the end of the project You may use Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Camtasia, ScreenFlow, Screen Studio, Descript, or another professional workflow. Bonus qualifications Experience with Moodle administration or Moodle plugin development Experience creating Moodle training materials Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, subscriptions, or online course sales Experience teaching non-technical business owners and course creators Familiarity with instructional design and adult learning Experience publishing content for YouTube or learning-management platforms How to apply Please include: Links to two or three relevant software tutorials or courses you personally presented, recorded, and edited. Your fixed-price quote or pricing structure. The recording and editing tools you use. Whether your quote includes scripts, captions, raw footage, project files, and revisions.
