Canadian Trademark Agent / Attorney – Remote Filing Role

We are seeking a qualified Canadian trademark professional to join our growing international filing network. We currently work with one of the largest trademark filing platforms in Asia and have successfully established a U.S. trademark filing network that now processes more than 1,500 trademark applications per month through a team of U.S. attorneys. We are now expanding our Canadian trademark practice and are looking for a long-term Canadian representative to support this growth. The Opportunity The current Canadian filing volume is approximately 10–15 trademark applications per month, but this is a relatively new service offering and we expect substantial growth over time based on our experience in the U.S. market. The role is designed to minimise administrative burden while ensuring that the Canadian trademark professional retains full control over the filing process and professional responsibilities. How the Process Works Applications originate from established international IP agencies and their clients. Our platform performs extensive pre-processing and validation before the application reaches Canadian counsel. For example: Goods and services descriptions are automatically classified and generated into a format compatible with Canada's filing requirements. Applicant information and supporting data are pre-checked before submission. Required filing documents are prepared in advance. As an example, our system can automatically generate goods and services specification data in an XML format compliant with Canada's official filing system. The Canadian trademark professional is responsible for: Reviewing the application details; Completing applicant particulars within the Canadian filing system; Uploading the prepared goods and services classification information; Conducting any review necessary to satisfy themselves that they are comfortable proceeding with the filing; Submitting the application.
