Candidate Interviewer

Overview We're hiring a skilled interviewer to conduct first-round screening and help us filter a high volume of applicants down to a strong shortlist. You'll be the first human touchpoint for candidates applying to open positions within our company. We'll give you access to our Indeed and job board accounts so you can review and screen incoming candidates directly. Your job is to assess fit fairly, document your findings, surface the strongest candidates, and coordinate their second interviews with our management team. What you'll do Review and screen incoming applicants through our Indeed and job board accounts Conduct 15–30 minute video or phone screening interviews with promising candidates Assess candidates against a defined scorecard (we'll provide the criteria and questions) Record clear, consistent notes directly on candidate profiles in Indeed Provide us with a written report identifying the best candidates for second interviews, with a brief rationale for each Schedule second interviews by coordinating candidate availability with our management team's calendar Maintain consistency and fairness across all interviews Ideal candidate Prior experience interviewing, recruiting, or screening candidates (in-house or agency) Familiarity with Indeed and online job boards / applicant management Strong, clear communicator who can put candidates at ease while staying objective Excellent written English for concise, useful notes and reports Reliable, organized, and able to turn around feedback within [24 hours] Comfortable managing scheduling logistics across multiple calendars Available during the week in the Eastern USA time zone Details Volume: approximately [X candidates per week] Engagement: [hourly / per-interview rate — e.g. "$X per completed interview"] Duration: [ongoing / one-time batch of ~X candidates] Tools: Indeed, [job board name], [Zoom / Google Meet], [calendar / scheduling tool] To apply Please answer the following in your proposal: Briefly describe your experience screening candidates and conducting interviews, and the types of roles.
