Cantonese (yue-CN) Transcription & QA Annotators Needed

We're looking for native Cantonese speakers (Mainland China locale) to join a short-term project involving verbatim transcription and Inverse Text Normalization (ITN) annotation of audio utterances. We're hiring for two roles under this posting — please apply indicating which role fits you (or both): Role 1: Transcriber - Listen to short audio clips (~10 seconds each) and produce accurate verbatim transcriptions - Convert spoken-form text into ITN format (numbers, dates, times, currency, measurements, addresses, phone numbers, abbreviations, etc.) - Follow provided JSON schema (includes updated schema version, annotator ID field, ITN content field per segment) - Follow AWS transcription conventions (timestamps, capitalization, punctuation, overlap handling, unintelligible/non-speech tagging) Role 2: QA Reviewer - Review completed transcriptions and ITN annotations for accuracy against source audio - Check ITN annotations across categories: dates, currency, times, measurements, addresses, phone numbers, alphanumeric sequences, abbreviations, dictated/spelled content - Flag common error types: incorrect ITN category/span/annotation, missing span, extra span - Verify JSON schema compliance and deliver a QA report Project details: - Volume: 756 audio utterances - Timeline: Must be completed within 2 working days (urgent) - Language: Cantonese, Mainland China (yue-CN) Requirements: - Native Cantonese speaker, fluent in Mainland China dialect/locale - Prior experience with transcription and/or QA/annotation work (AWS-style schema experience is a strong plus) - Strong attention to detail — target thresholds are 95%+ transcription accuracy and less than 5% ITN error rate - Able to commit focused hours across 2 consecutive days to meet a tight deadline - Reliable internet and quiet work environment Budget: Fixed price per role, based on volume How to apply: - Please specify which role you're applying for (Transcription, QA, or both), confirm your availability and briefly describe your relevant experience.
