Summary

Luxury Editorial Canva Designer Needed – Build a Premium Magazine Template I am looking for an exceptional Canva designer with strong editorial and magazine layout experience to create a reusable Canva master template for my monthly publication called Steve's CH Minute. This is NOT a typical real estate flyer. The goal is to create a publication that looks like a premium magazine rather than a marketing piece. The finished product should immediately communicate sophistication, expertise, trust, and luxury. Design Inspiration The overall aesthetic should draw inspiration from: Compass Real Estate Apple Monocle Magazine Architectural Digest Wallpaper* Financial Times Weekend Kinfolk Tesla Investor Reports Think: Luxury editorial publication. Not: Real estate flyer Canva template Newspaper Marketing brochure The design should rely heavily on: exceptional typography white space clean grid systems restrained use of lines premium photography modern editorial hierarchy The publication should feel timeless. Existing Blueprint I have attached a layout mockup that should serve as the primary blueprint for the overall layout and visual hierarchy. Do not redesign the publication from scratch. Use the attached design as the foundation and recreate it professionally in Canva while improving spacing, typography, alignment, consistency, and overall polish. Deliverables Deliverable #1 Create the permanent Steve's CH Minute Master Template in Canva. This template will be duplicated every month. All recurring design elements should already exist. Only photos, statistics, stories, and featured properties will change each month. Deliverable #2 Create Issue No. 001 – July 2026 Populate the template using the assets I provide. This will become the first published issue. Assets I Will Provide I will provide: Steve Brant logo Steve Brant headshot QR Code Contact information Licensing information July listing photos Success Story photos Market Snapshot data Monthly editorial copy Homes We're Watching information Use only the supplied assets. Do not substitute AI-generated imagery. Page Layout Top 10% Steve's CH Minute Issue Number Month Tagline Monthly headline One sentence introduction Next 25% Left side: Market Snapshot infographic Right side: Success Story One premium property photograph Key statistics Short editorial story Next 25% Left: Steve's Scoop Current noteworthy real estate news or industry story. Right: Beyond Cortez Hill San Diego County market update. Next 25% Homes We're Watching Three featured properties. Each property should include: Large photo Address One sentence Listed by: Listing Agent These cards should be visually consistent. Bottom 15% Footer containing: Steve Brant logo QR Code Contact information License information Steve Brant headshot The headshot should slightly overlap the Homes We're Watching section to create visual interest while maintaining a clean editorial feel. Design Direction The publication should use: Black White Charcoal Gray Very minimal accent colors. Photography should become the primary source of color. Avoid: gradients drop shadows glossy effects clip art Canva-looking templates stock brochure aesthetics Typography Typography is extremely important. Use elegant editorial typography. Clear hierarchy. Large margins. Generous white space. Minimal borders. Think luxury magazine. Important Notes This publication will become a recurring monthly publication. The finished Canva template should allow me to simply: duplicate the issue replace photos replace statistics replace headlines replace stories without redesigning the publication. Consistency month after month is critical. Future Opportunity If this project is successful, I anticipate hiring the same designer for ongoing monthly updates and additional branded marketing materials. I'm looking for someone who can help establish the long-term visual identity of this publication—not just complete a one-time design project.
