Case Manager/Legal Assistant for Personal Injury Firm

We are seeking a detail-oriented bi-lingual Case Manager to assist with personal injury cases in California. Responsibilities include managing case files including coordinating care, gathering medical records, coordinating with clients and attorneys, and assisting with intake and client communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal case management and be able to work independently. This position will begin part-time with the goal of being full-time within 2 months as responsibilities and case load increases. Your primary role will be to ensure that clients receive the appropriate and timely services they need, from the initial intake through to the resolution of their cases. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring that each case progresses smoothly and efficiently. Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, gather necessary information, and address any concerns. Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies to ensure that all aspects of each case are handled effectively. Review and organize case files, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress. Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including demands, settlement agreements, and other necessary paperwork. Monitor case deadlines, ensuring that all required actions are completed in a timely manner. Provide exceptional client service, maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy in all interactions. Collaborate with other team members to ensure that each case is managed effectively and efficiently. Identify and address any potential issues or obstacles that could impact the successful resolution of a case. Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience as a Case Manager, experience MUST BE in a personal injury law firm. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in legal software and case management systems. Commitment to providing exceptional client service. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Pluses: Experience with demand writing, lien negotiation, legal drafting. Experience with Gohighlevel/Clio
