🚀 About the Project • We're looking for native speakers to help create a high-quality Casual Chat Phrase Dataset for training next-generation AI chatbots. • Your task is to write natural, everyday chat messages that reflect how people actually communicate in messaging apps. 🌐 Target Languages • Polish (PL) • Portuguese (PT) • Swedish (SV) • Vietnamese (VI) • Chinese (ZH) Volume: 250 unique utterances per language 🎯 What You'll Do • Create 250 natural, unique chat utterances in your native language. • Work using the provided Excel template. • Follow the supplied annotation guidelines, category definitions, and examples. • Ensure every utterance matches its assigned conversational category. 💬 The Dataset Should Include Typos & Misspellings • Natural typing mistakes people commonly make. Examples: • gud mrng • definitly • tommorow Code-Switching • Naturally mix your native language with another language whenever it commonly occurs. Examples: • Hinglish • Spanglish • Japanese-English mixing • Any natural language mixing appropriate for your language Chat Abbreviations & Messaging Style Include realistic chat shorthand such as: • btw • lol • idk • u • pls • gr8 • 2morrow • Emoji-only or emoji-heavy messages where appropriate Character & Encoding Variations • Include realistic character variations, keyboard substitutions, or encoding quirks commonly seen in chat messages (where applicable). 📊 Required Distribution • 30% – Ultra-short responses • 40% – Casual chat phrases • 30% – Full conversational sentences All messages should sound like real messaging app conversations, not formal written text. 📁 Deliverables Complete the provided Excel spreadsheet with: • Text • Language • Category ⭐ Quality Requirements • Native-quality and natural language • No duplicate or near-duplicate utterances • No personal information (names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, etc.) • No hate speech, explicit, or violent content • Correct category assignment • Follow all annotation guidelines 👤 Preferred Qualifications • Native speaker of one of the target languages • Strong attention to detail • Ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines • Familiarity with everyday texting and messaging habits in your language 📩 How to Apply Please include: • Your native language • A few sample casual chat messages in your native language • Your estimated turnaround time for completing 250 utterances Note: Only native speakers of the target languages will be considered.
