2D Character Animator (Adobe Character Animator) — Corporate Training Series, 40+ Videos

Overview We're a UK-based company producing an internal learning series — The Argenbright Academy — hosted by two recurring animated characters. The rigged character files and the voiceover audio are already produced. We need a skilled 2D animator to bring the first episode to life: sync the characters to our supplied voiceover, add simple on-screen motion graphics, and edit it into a polished finished video. The style is warm, friendly and professional — two hosts presenting to camera in an “explainer” format. This first video is effectively a paid audition. If it goes well, we will commission a full series of around 40 further videos as a single body of work — so we're looking for a reliable collaborator with the capacity to take on a large batch, not a one-off freelancer. What we provide • Fully built, rigged character files (Adobe Character Animator puppets) for both hosts • Professionally recorded voiceover audio for each character • The full script, with stage directions and timing guidance • Brand assets: logo, colour palette, and the on-screen graphics/icons referenced in the script • A short style reference for tone and pacing Scope — first video • Runtime: approx. 8–9 minutes (two-character dialogue) • Accurate lip-sync for both characters to the supplied voiceover • Natural idle motion, gestures and expression changes that suit the dialogue • Characters must move around the scene where the script calls for it — the walking character on foot, and the wheelchair-using character by wheeling — not remain static in a fixed pose the whole time • One host is a wheelchair user — she is animated seated throughout and moves by wheeling; please represent her naturally and respectfully • Simple motion graphics: a four-part diagram that animates/highlights on cue, section titles, light transitions, and an intro/outro logo sting • Edit and mix to the voiceover, and deliver a clean finished cut Deliverables • Final video in 1080p (MP4/H.264) — 4K optional if straightforward • Editable project files (Character Animator / After Effects / Premiere Pro as applicable) • Captions burned in or supplied as a separate .SRT (nice to have) Must-have skills • Adobe Character Animator (essential — the rigs are built in it) • Premiere Pro and/or After Effects for editing and motion graphics • Strong lip-sync and comic/dialogue timing • Clean, brand-consistent motion-graphics sensibility • Good written English and responsive communication Nice to have • Experience with explainer / corporate training / e-learning content • Comfort creating or refining simple icon animations • Basic audio editing and mixing The opportunity Fixed price per video. Successful delivery of video 1 leads to a single follow-on commission of around 40 videos, awarded together as one project. This is a substantial batch of work for the right animator — please make sure you have the capacity and turnaround to deliver a series of this size before applying, and include a proposed delivery schedule for the batch with your application.
