2D Character Animator for Animated Amazon Product Videos

We run Amazon growth for a portfolio of consumer brands. We are adding one animator as our go-to for short animated product videos, starting with a brand whose creative features illustrated animal characters. This is built to be ongoing, not a single project. The work: - 15 to 30 second animated product clips for Amazon detail pages, A+ Content, and Sponsored Brands ads - Illustrated animal characters animated in-scene with the product - On-screen copy, transitions, sound design, music sync - Consistent style across a set, so clip 8 looks like clip 1 Delivery spec per video (Amazon compliance is non-negotiable): - Master: MP4, H.264 main or baseline profile, 1920x1080, constant 29.97 fps, 1 Mbps minimum bitrate - Vertical cut: true 1080x1920 render, not a padded crop. No letterbox or pillarbox bars on any side - Under 500 MB, 6 to 45 seconds - Audio: AAC or PCM, 44.1 kHz or higher, 96 kbps minimum, stereo or mono, single audio stream - No black or blank frames at the start or end. First frame opens on product or character, not a slate - No fake UI elements: no play buttons, cursors, social media frames, or anything that looks clickable. Amazon rejects these - No pricing or promo claims, no competitor or other-marketplace mentions, no star ratings or reviews on screen - Organized, labeled source project files delivered on completion Requirements: - After Effects and Illustrator at a professional level - Character rigging with Duik, RubberHose, or equivalent - Portfolio with real 2D character animation, not template edits or logo animation - Proven ability to match a provided reference style exactly - Hard delivery dates and reliable weekly communication Bonus: - You illustrate as well as animate, so characters and motion come from one person - Prior Amazon or DTC product video experience Answer these in your proposal: 1.
