Chemical Procurement Consultant – Oleochemicals / USP Ingredients

We are seeking an experienced chemical procurement and process-industry professional to source and implement a lower-cost supply chain for a bulk USP-grade oleochemical ingredient. The project includes obtaining competitive quotes for: 1. RTU USP-grade material from manufacturers, importers, brokers, and distributors; and 2. A complete toll-processing arrangement involving the purchase of crude feedstock, third-party refining/purification, testing and certification to USP specifications, storage, transportation, and delivery of finished USP-grade material. We are ready to proceed with the toll-processing model immediately and need someone capable of identifying qualified crude suppliers and refiners, obtaining pricing, evaluating process economics and minimum volumes, and managing the project through implementation. Ideal candidates will have direct experience with oleochemicals, commodity chemicals, pharmaceutical or food ingredients, toll manufacturing, refining, chemical procurement, or supply-chain development. Existing relationships with suppliers, brokers, refiners, terminals, laboratories, and bulk logistics providers are highly valuable. This is an execution-focused assignment, not a general market research project. Please describe similar sourcing or toll-processing projects you have personally managed, the industries in which you have worked, and any relevant supplier or refiner relationships. This project may develop into an ongoing procurement and supply-chain management relationship.
