Chiang Mai Local Researcher and Content Contributor
Worldwide
# Chiang Mai Local Researcher and Content Contributor We are creating practical, engaging guides about living in and visiting Chiang Mai. The main articles will already be drafted. Your role is not to rewrite them. You will review each article, complete clearly marked local sections, correct inaccurate assumptions, and add specific local knowledge that ordinary travel guides often miss. This may include: * Everyday local scenes and routines * Lesser-known markets, meeting points and activities * Honest local insights * Practical local tips * Current prices, times and locations * Corrections where the draft does not reflect reality * Genuine drawbacks, inconveniences or seasonal issues Examples might include where farmers gather early in the morning to sell produce, where monks regularly receive alms, which markets residents actually use, or which streets become noisy, congested or difficult at certain times. Each article may contain sections marked: * Local scene * Local insight * Local tip * Reality check * Local verification You should: * Live in Chiang Mai or know the city extremely well * Write clear English * Be observant, practical and honest * Be willing to verify details locally * Avoid generic tourism language * Never invent information * Clearly separate personal opinion from verified fact * Leave a section blank if you do not know the answer * Write in clear, direct English using complete sentences. Avoid slang, obscure expressions, wordplay, unexplained abbreviations and unnecessarily complicated sentence structures. The articles will be automatically translated into several languages, so the source English must be easy for translation software to interpret accurately. The writing should still feel lively and natural, but clarity must take priority over clever phrasing. This is a local research and contribution role, not a full article-writing role. ## Attached * Detailed article brief * Sample article showing the expected work ## Planned Article Series The initial project comprises 21 priority articles about living in, visiting and understanding Chiang Mai. The full article list is attached as a PDF. Articles will be drafted separately and assigned individually for local review and contribution. The initial contract may begin with one paid trial article before further work is assigned.
